Peter likes pushing things around: his wagon, his stroller, and now his shopping card. He even goes shopping with it, despite the threat posed by mobs of boy scouts waiting for him when he leaves Trader Joe's...

Peter likes playing at parks. Climbing, swinging, flying a kite--it's all fun. The most fun is riding on a horse to the tune of "Trot, old joe" as sung by mama or daddy.

When we need to clip Peter's fingernails or cut his hair or do something else to him that he doesn't like, we let him watch his favorite dancing babies video on the computer. It puts him into a trance.

When you're as skinny as Peter, it's tough to keep your pants up.
