"Hey grandma and grandpa, here's my favorite car book!"

"And let me go down the list of my other favorite books..."

"And here's one of my favorite cars."

Peter got a puzzle from grandma and grandpa.

Peter has borrowed a rocking caterpillar from a playmate.

"Thank you for the neat car book!"

Peter, caught with a drool spot the size of Montana.

Out for a walk. With the car book.

Out to eat. With the car book.

We visited the Winchester Mystery House.

"Hey, that looks like a good book."

"What, are you trying to poison me with this?"

Peter's birthday wagon is good for pushing around on the sidewalk outside...

...as well as riding in.

"More!"

I (Kurt) often take Peter for walks in the evening before bedtime. He likes opening, closing, and going through the gates around the swimming pool. One time recently, when it was time to go, he got cranky and wanted to continue playing with the gate. I tried to entice him away by letting him play with my keys. Without ever having been explicitly taught how, he took my keys, went back to the gate, and tried to hold the key fob up to the proximity sensor to unlock the gate.
