A friend recommended the Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose. We visited it and immediately became members. Peter has a great time whenever we visit.
Peter has the most fun in the Wonder Cabinet, a room specially for infants and toddlers. When we first entered, he spotted a staircase with a hand rail exactly his size. He just had to go up and down it.

And up it.

And...

There are several places to go crawling, both over and under.



There is a tree house to crawl inside and use coats to dress up like different animals.


Bonk.

And there are places just to sit around, read books, and play with interesting toys.





There are other fun exhibits, like an ambulance or car to pretend to drive.


There's a water exhibit, too. Unfortunately, we weren't paying close enough attention to Peter, and he decided that it looked like fun. A lot of fun.

On our way out was when we noticed that the exhibit came with mini waterproof raincoats...
